2014

Bishopton tennis club is well represented in the Wilson West of Scotland Summer doubles leagues. This runs from April to end-July every year. We currently have 2 Mens' teams and 3 Ladies' teams, with a view to expanding the number of teams as club membership grows.

The Mens' 1st team (M1) play in Division 2A and finished 6th out of 9 in 2014; the Mens' 2nd team (M2) play in Division 7B and finished 5th out of 8 in 2014. Both teams remain in their respective Leagues for next year.

The Ladies 1st team (L1) narrowly missed out on a promotion play off this year in their league, Division 2A, finishing 3rd out of 9 teams. The Ladies 2nd team (L2), play in Division 5A and finished 6th out of 10 teams. The Ladies 3rd team (L3), finished 7th out of 7 teams in league 7A.

In addition there is one Mens' team in the Seniors (over 45yo) summer leagues that run from August to October and three Seniors Ladies teams. Currently the Men play in Division 5A having won promotion last year and the Ladies' 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams are in Divisions 5A, 8B and 8A respectively.

We also have one over 60's Mens and one over 60's Ladies teams who participate in their respective leagues (both Division 1) on pre-arranged dates on Tuesdays (Men) and Thursdays (Ladies) during April and May.

There is an U18 boys league (Aegon team tennis West of Scotland) and we are represented in this, Division 2A, This runs from April to June.
